Feel stupid for posting this, but looking for girls who may have been in a similiar position. Been kind of stressed lately with college work, so my days are all over the place. Anyway was meant to start my pill again yesterday but totally forgot about it till this evening. That's ok, know to take it as soon as you remember and be extra careful for the next week. Thing is, got a little drunk last night, and was not so careful. Now that i've remembered to start my pill, i'm a little stressed as to wether this day late will effect me. I know i should probably consult my doctor, but it's too late to call today and i suppose i'm just looking for some-one to ease my mind.

All the advice you will get here is go the doctor.
    And rightly so.

no one but a GP/doctor can realistically ease your mind.

Its in a lot of people's nature to always assume the worst though

Check the booklet that comes with your pill. As far as I know it should be fine, it may mess up the later part of the week/month though.
Some pills actually allow you to miss one with lowering your risk much.

Basically you're only in trouble if you were ovulating. If you had just finished your 7 day break and had taken it properly before that, you won't have ovulated in the 24 hours that you forgot your pill.

This is opinion only, doesn't replace medical advice!!!

If you are really worried, get the morning after pill.
It's about e70 but will really ease your mind. Get it asap though as effectiveness lessens through time.

in all likelyhood you will not have ovulated in the space of one day....you'll probably be fine but do check with a doc asap to reassure you!

Go see the doc asap, otherwise you may need to start planning flights or prams. Not pretty.
