This teaser trailer made me lol, so its definitely going to be a movie i'll be going to see next year.

Plus I loved Jason Bateman in arrested development. It looks like hes using the same deadpan humour in this movie also.

Looks interesting, not exactly laugh out loud trailer, but could be good, I like the whale bit at the end.

There's no story in the trailer, but i'm guessing there's a feel good 'hancock learns how to be a good superhero etc etc' ending with a hot lady and a cute kid in it somewhere/?...

I tend to ignore people who misuse hyperbole

I know I know, I could probably tell you without reading the synopsis what the main storyline of this movie will be, and write it on the back of a napkin. But then the same was true of Anchorman, which is possible the funniest movie i've ever watched.

I like the refreshing twist on the Superhero genre, that what if an idiot had the super powers and not some moral and intelligent person. It will also be interesting to see how they flesh out the storyline in the coming months, and who they will have as his nemesis.

    thought it looked hilarious.

anything with jason bateman in it is pure comedic genius by default anyway

I sent the link around the office and everyone thought it was funny, you so aren't expecting him to suddenly fly up into the air.

Plus I love Jason Bateman as an actor, he does serious and sarcastic comedy so well. The eye candy of this movie will be in the form of Charlize Theron.

Seems like more of a spin on 'My Super Ex Girlfriend' that film with Uma Thurman. Replacing the angry ex with a lazy bum. Not that fresh imo.

something like this is bound to have a dissapointing plot though.

oh most definitely, but i'm just hoping there are enough gags and action scenes to make it worth while. I mean they've got a whole genre of super hero movies to poke fun at... although i'd hope it doesn't degrade into merely a bunch of puns and clichés.
