They had that in the run up to christmas too, I think I'm going to hold off to see if they drop the price.

I bought one in xtravision yesterday for 399

    *360 premium
    *extra controller
    *halo 3
    *forza 2
*pro evolution 2008 - was supposed to be Project Gotham Racing but they were out of stock so I asked for that instead - considering PGR was 29.99 and Pro Evo was 64.99 it was a good swap!
    *rental vouchers

Sun 30th - Tue 2nd they have a deal on in Tesco where you get an Xbox 360 Premium for 369 with Forza 2 and Viva Pinata (don't think there's an extra controller) and you get 30% back in Tesco Vouchers early Feb.

    Cost: €369
    Vouchers Back: €110.70

So... Xbox 360 for €259 (sorta)

Great deal.. only next 3 days though

Went to Tesco today in Mullingar to avail of the 30% rebate deal. On checking the box I found it was the older model with no HDMI. Anyone know if there local store has the newer model?

How did you find that it was the older model with no HDMI port.

I read this on the net: TeamBio came up with an efficient way to tell if the Premium 360 you are buying has HDMI or not ...

There have been numerous reports that say the only way to tell is the Premiums come with HDMI is by looking at the back of the box for the HDMI Logo ...

However lots of people have brought a 360 without this logo and still have HDMI on the console ...

Well an Admin over at TeamBio has looked into this a little deeper and has foung out there are 2 product numbers to look for ...

If the Xbox 360 displays a Product number of "MS 88222438075" you will find HDMI on the back of the console

If the Product Number is "MS 882224035811" then you have an old console and ask for another one until you find the above Product Number

I couldn't see the part numbers on the box so i asked the lady could i open it and she said ok.
