    I mean how do you connect to Xbox live and enter a game on it.

    Xbox live was down there for a bit, thats probably what you ran into.

    yeh yeh i have xbox live gold, for year I just cant find the xbox live option on the game.

    There is nothing labelled Xbox live in the game. Go to matchmaking and set your options. You should be able to select "start matchmaking" if you are connected. That is all you need to do. It runs off bungie servers.
