Dang, I'm trying to put a recording that's 2hrs and 6 mins long on a DVD, but them extra 6 minutes are making it too big. I can't really cut anything out either and I've already encoded it to an NRG (nero iso file?) file ready to burn from the wmv it was recorded in originally. A Dual layer would probably solve it but I went to buy some today and they were only available in 10 packs for €40:eek:

Does anyone know if there is a way to split the actual NRG file over 2 discs, or will I have to split the wmv file in half and just encode both halves to DVD again?

    Any feedback appreciated :)

If you lower the bitrate that you're encoding at ever so slightly, that should solve your problem. There is no time based restriction on how much video a dvd can store.

Thanks for the reply. Is this possible to do in Nero? I can't see any option:confused:

    Think I found it :)

Click more and then click Video options on Nero Vision Express :)
