Who was this guy?

Anyone remember the name of a guy who would interview politicians on tv on Sunday mornings back in the 80s (not David Frost!)? Show was probably on UTV probably LWT and I remember being very disturbed by it rather than being a launchpad in to an interest in British politics.

The setting of his show was a lot like "mastermind" with lots of darkness and big black executive leather chairs and the show itself had this sinister sort of theme tune.

The interviewer had a nasley sort of voice and evil pointy looking eyebrows and I'm pretty sure he was even a spitting image character at one point!

Anyway it's been killing me for ages now to remember the guys name. Any suggestions welcome.

    Nope it's not him.

Never mind. After a bit of digging I luckily found it

His names Brian Walden -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGUu-t7peWg. FF to 2minutes.

Go right to the end and you see a tiny snipped of footage from Ireland v Denmark 1985. Bonus! :D Ya gotta love youtube.
