I was very dissappointed at the next sale last year, wasn't impressed by a lot of the clothes.

Will Dundrum be open at the usual time tomorrow?

I think it's open 9-7 tomorrow but check out its website to be sure.

Yay finally! So glad I have money this year! Anyone got any tips, besides getting there really early? I'm not exactly an expert shopper...

Also, I really want a pair of black skinny jeans, very black. I looked before Christmas and was horrified at the prices I was confronted with, 62 euro for something so basic?? Madness. Any ideas where to pick up a pair during the sales?

River Island for the skinny jeans.

Got a black pair for €20 (on sale) which I love!

I'll be there bright and early to try and beat the crowds.

Of course the rest of the country will have had the same idea.

I want to be out bright and early at 9AM but nobody will come with me....

I'm an expert sale shopper, I've been doing it since I was 5 years old
I just need someone to hold my stuff while I fight my way through to the good stuff

I hate the sales! The crowds..clothes thrown everywhere...my nightmare:eek:..but alas it has to be done.
If only I had an expert sale shopper with me/someone to look through all the rails for me while I gladly hold all the stuff.:(

I hate being single during the sales

I'm dragging one of my brothers in at 12, the fool thinks he's going for lunch

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,619 ✭✭✭Fast_Mover

the sales were poor.Anything that was worth buying was either new stock which wasnt reduced or reduced by 10% only

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,619 ✭✭✭Fast_Mover

Ya, id agree, there wasn't much out there alright.
Bought 5 items of clothing in total today.
My best buy was a lovely pair of black jeans from Warehouse at an even lovelier price of €13.50!! Trilled..:)
Will head in at some stage again though and see if I missed anything first time round:D

Hmmm I always prefer the last effort at River Island's sale... Think you can pick up some great bargains then cos they keep reducing the stuff to nothing. Have picked up loads of tops for under a tenner each most years...

Must motivate myself to venture towards shopping territories tomorrow... Mmmm

i bought a whole lot of stuff and took it home to try it on and see if i liked it.I like no more than 2 things out of the 15/20 which i bought. The rest are going right back to the shops. The two items which i liked were NOT sale items

I got a really nice Animale coat in Clery's with €99 off. There was some gorgeous stuff in the European label shops there.
