al, its nothing to do with sunderland trust me, those songs get sung in every game, both home and away. i have never been to liverpool games that didnt involve united, but im sure, what ever anti united songs they have, are sung at the odd ground here and there.

i dont think i know any anti-united songs, i have been never been to a pool united game but i have never heard any songs but the ones about liverpool when i have been to games (well except the ones that all fans sing against any other team i.e. generic you're crap songs!)

thats the point Homer, Liverpool dont sing about Utd at every opportunity, Liverpool like to sing about themselves, whereas sometimes Utd fans seem more obsessed with Liverpool than their own team.

phil neville scores for everton, 1-0

today is a crap day for footie on TV, i remember this day last year had 4 games live, united v wigan, reading v chelsea(cracker), arsenal v watford (cracker!) and liverpool were on too, cant remember who they were playing. surprised setanta dont have 2 games today, its very disappointing.

yeh i'm not sure why there are so fews games on TV, kinda weird. no 515 game either, only a 730. Ah well, hopefully the Portsmouth Arsenal game will be a cracker.

17 goals in all comps this season, 12 in the League 5 in the Champions League. Unreal, from a winger.

Uniteds squad is finally get fit again, it's been a long time.

    Wigan beating Newky.

I don't think Allardyce will last much longer.

Derby get one against pool. Hmmm.

If Pompey can hold the Arse tonight, it'll be a smashing day for ManYoo.

United only seem to come alive when Sunderland get the ball back, in general they are extremely lack about this game in the second half.
Indeed, come on Derby. If they drop points points here, it'll become a top 2 race for sure. Would be very surprised to see it happen though.

They can afford to be PHB.

No point over exerting yourself in a game like that, at 3-0.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

Oh I agree, except I think that these players bar Rooney aren't first choice, so they should be trying to make an effort. Some are, but some aren't. Carrick and Fletcher doesn't seem up for the fight for a place much to be honest.

Pique comes on, hope they can keep a clean sheet.

Rooney to be honest still looks nowhere near his best. I was kinda hoping the goal would kick start him again, but he still might be a game or two away from his top form.

When does the African Nations start?

Chelsea are in real trouble now. With Carvalho and Cole facing 3 match bans, Terry injured, Lamps off injured, Drogba recovering from surgery and then off to AN and Essien and Mikel off shortly...

Unfortunately I can see a backlash in the summer with Abramovich going back to his huge spending.

I think a point away to Portsmoth isn't a bad result, its all the Pool or United could get.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,372 ✭✭✭✭Mr Alan

    i agree.

Portsmouth are a very decent side

I think the top 4 should count any result that they don't win as a bad result except the home grounds of the top 4

Unearthly you got it spot on. The reason they call it the "big four" is because of the gap in quality and as long as you're not going to Emirates, Anfield, the Bridge or Trafford you should expect and deserve 3 points.

Portsmouth are a quality side - but have no place taking points off the big four unless the big four give them away. Which the Arse did.

I'm a huge Fabregas fan but watching the match in the pub last night and my mates wouldn't believe me that he was on the pitch. Rosicky was everywhere though.
