I'm running out the door here in 15 mins. I'm supposed to be working a full day but feck that.
Working a half day on the 27th and full day on the 28th and then off till the 2nd. Not too bad really considering it's year end here.

My group has a complete support team working tomorrow (24/7) with a huge backup team of onsite engineers on stand-by right across Europe.
We even have logistical coordinators in so we can move parts to customer's sites in the event of a situation. It's a normal work day for some unfortunately.
I'm working presently, but expect to be doing nothing!

Was on holidays for the past week, off today in lieu for next Saturday, then Monday next week is another day in lieu for the weekend of the 29th, off on the 1st, and that's about it.

Will be working on the 26th onwards, apart from the 31st/1st. Meh. Having been working in IT Support, before that the cinema, and before then pubs, it's been a long while since I've called this period "holidays".

I did a 13 hour shift on Christmas Day. The last time I had a 'holiday' over Christmas was in 1987.
