    So ... I took a trip down memory lane today; I took a detour, and spotted this good looking chap.

    Anyone recognise him ? Answers on a large piece of bog roll, to the usual address. :)

    You can have the leftovers, if you like. :)

    Your reward can be the sweet, sweet smell of success.

    At his peak, he weighed in excess of 30 stone :eek: Following gastric bypass surgery, he lost 18, that's 18 stone.

    See here -> http://www.bbc.co.uk/insideout/yorkslincs/series7/buster_bloodvessel.shtml

    Pretty poor wikipedia article here ->http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buster_Bloodvessel

    Random BB fact ... he owns an island in the River Thames. :)

    Are you trying to imply Brother Trout that 30 stone is an unhealthy or unflattering weight for a man ??
    I think we all know that the wimmen love a rounder man and that weight lose is bad for your health, especially such dramatic weight loss as this !!

    I will refrain from the obvious Yore Ma comment Brother Smashey, but I would advise more caution when posting in future.....:D

    I'm suprised no-one has mentioned this legend of a mans greatest achievement yet......WRITING A LOVE SONG ABOUT A CAN OF BEER (special brew).

    What do you take me for ... a pencil neck ? Of course 30 stone is a fine figure of a man ... one we could all aspire to. I merely found it noteworthy that the man had shed such weight ... I mean, some of the smaller and hairier Brothers barely tip the scales at 18 stone. (not including myself in that category of course).

    I had indeed forgotten about the Special Brew ... eh ... ballad.

    We should make this man Honorary Bard, Poet and Lifestyle Inspiration to the Brothers of the Beer Guts and Receeding* Hairlines.

    *Yes, I can spell Receding ... I'm just old skool ... I liked it the way it was :cool:

    Perhaps we could invite Buster to join this forum? It might inspire him to give up his new sins and get back to his ideal manweight.
