Hi. I'm having a problem connecting my Wii online. I have a Netopia Wireless 3347NWG. My Wii can find the Access Point but wont connect. I get an Error 52030 on screen. My Firewall is set to Low. Any suggestions??

A quick google search says you need to change the channel on the router. If you have a cordless phone beside the Netopia, i would suggest moving that away.

I use a Netopia Modem(will have to check model no.) and I have a strange problem. It connects to the net but if I try a second time it fails. I have to unplug the Wii, turn off the modem for 30 seconds, then turn it back on and let it boot then plug in the wii again. Then it'll work again once:confused:

    I get Error 052330 I think.

    Its all rather weird.

had similar issues. i turned the wireless security off on the router and it worked first time. must be something to do with that. have not had time to put different security on the router yet and retest. will let you know when i do.

I am also having the issues with my netopia (2247 NWG) and can't get my Wii to work and am getting the same messages.

My Wii worked fine last week in my parents also with an Eircom Netopia, but now in my own house, if it eventually picks up my modem, by the time I have put in my WEP etc the connection is lost and I either get a error message or am told to configure my settings. Have tried changing the channels and all that etc but nothing doing.

Have moved the cordless phone away from the Modem and have taken off security as well. Have placed the Wii beside the modem and it still barely picks up that the modem is there.

Anybody figure this problem out yet??

:Di have netopia too, i am writing this from my wii. Its great, internet is by far THE best channel. ITS gr8 browsing the web from my 50 inch screen!
when you guys get the internet on ure wii, software may take 3-4 efforts to download. be patient. if netopia is causing you a lot of hassle buy the nintendo wii usb wii first connector. its easy to use!
this took so long to type lol, they should bring out a wii keyboard

GOOD luck getting it up and running all. |)
