    Hello all,

I'm thinking of joining a boxing club next year to improve my punching. I currently do Thai boxing and some MMA. I was recommended to join a pro boxing club. My coach reckons it will suit my style of fighting better. He used to box and thai box out of Oz.

    So, any sugestions?

    Ta

Most pro boxers in ireland fight abroad, the only thing i can think of is getting private lessons in boxing, just look around for a good coach..best of luck....

I've already spoke to dave about this, he's more than welcome to do some when he's home-mickoo does some with me about 1 a week or so!

i only know of 1 other coach that does this and its phil sutcliffe over in crumlin..

Rush Boxing club and Rush Martial Arts head coach.

I'd vouch for Phil too, he's a top guy and will train anyone willing to learn. I'll be over there in the new year, got coaxed to get back in the ring... I'll never learn ::)

Id recommend cowzerp,he does a good intense half hour and mixes it up with pad and body punching to give variety.I use the lessons to compliment my Muay thai as i find paul gives more attention to the technical side of boxing than id get in muay thai.Ive only done a few but will be doing alot more when work settles down
