I've seen el cheapo ones in a lot of €1 Stores / Bargain Stores.

A jeweller will probably have some good quality ones.
Failing that, Maplins, Peats, Currys...any of those electrical places.

Maplin or a jewellers. Some computer stores do them too.

They're a CR series battery if they're as big as a 20c piece. Probably a CR2032 by the sounds of it. They usually run about 3 bucks a piece. They're 3V button cells, chromium based (hence the CR) and are used in everything from car keyfobs to CMOS backups to, it seems, red dot sights. The CR2032 is the most common of the series but there are about 14 sizes so you'd be better of bringing it with you or measuring the socket against the battery before you buy. They're all the same thickness (more or less) but if it's even a few mm either way it won't make the contact/won't fit.

Any boots chemist's will have em.

Remove battery when not in use though!
Have an illuminated scope and two red dots and
have experienced dead battery's after leaving them in
and when they were turned off.

not much use to you now i know, but for future use...you can buy packs of them that are good for years on ebay....might be an idea if you have a few scopes to buy some of them.
