    whats the best multi-player (offline and online) game anyone can recommend?? apart from COD4?

    i cant recommend WARHAWK enough.
    it is awesome.

    Unreal 3 should be good!

    RFOM is not bad.
    also check out motorstorm.

    Most fun I've had online is FIFA 08. Formula 1 was great too though I doubt there's many players now.

    There's more than shooters out there!

    Haven't played it in ages but I must get back to it. Enjoyed it much more than Motorstorm, DIRT, Forza or PGR. But then again I am a bit of an F1 fanatic :)

    Rock Band! by miles. Playing Team Fortress 2 the last few days and it's great fun, Unreal Tournament III is winging its way to me at the mo too so I'll let you know if it's any good.

    UT3 is ok. Not convinced with it yet. It's hard to find decent online servers right now as most of them are all hosted in the US so there's high latency on most of the servers. I only came across 1 or 2 below 100 ping. It's been a long time since I played a UT game but it mostly reminds me of Quake 3 Arena. The game is extremely fast paced. I'm still trying to get the right settings for my mouse in it as I find it plays better with a game of this speed.
