    Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone's used and can comment on the Core Performance program? (see ISBN 1594861684)

I'm getting back into a regular gym cycle after 9 months of being sedentary (starting a business can be unhealthy!).

    Cheers,
    Alastair.

Never tried it, but I think you can't beat the basic lifts: squat, deadlift, bench press, barbell row, pull-ups, dips, stiffleg deadlift, lunges, shoulder press etc.

I'm doing Pilates at the moment and think it's good for core work, but it certainly doesn't take the place of lifting heavy weights.
