Manta Force

Did anybody else get one of these every Xmas or was it just my house? We had the Mantaforce (original), Red Venom, Black Barracuda, Stinkhorn Bog Rocket, and the Manta force base.
They were the coolest toys ever, we had every accessory known to man, but then all of a sudden they were gone, and only that I had a dream bout them last night I'd still be forgetting bout them

We sure did, I remember vividly that my brother would always use the manta force and I'd always use the cobra (or whatever they were called) or the aliens that came with play-do goo (not at all innuendo, I swear ¬_¬)

Yup, I remember this. I was only thinking about it a short while ago. I remember getting this one for Christmas one year. (See attachment)

The smell of the goo those aliens came in! God it got everywhere we ruined the new xmas carpet when it got walked into it and would not wash out!
Remember the half dissolved looking bodies, meant to show that the troopers who were captured by stinkhorn bogrocket were being thrown into acid! The detail in the mutated/dissolved troopers was amazing...the goo was meant to be the acid swamp they were thrown into.

I am going up into the attic when I visit home this Xmas to see what I can find!

Me bro had the original ship alright, the grey one with all the smaller ships in it. The men were tiny. Puttin' on the stickers was the best part though

I got the Red Viper for christmas once, then a year or two later I got the Manta force base, my brothers got the Black Barracuda and Red Venom.

Years later we bought the Manta Force ship in a car boot sale for the craic

I remember getting the main Manta force ship for xmas one year. I got Red Venom for my birthday the following march. All was well and good with the world until my younger brother, in a mad fit of rage and jealousy, took his hurley to them and made complete sh!te of the whole lot during the summer. :mad:
They were my prized posessions and I didn't talk to him for nearly a year afterwards

Remember playing with these as a kid alright, the way they all tended to have loads of smaller vehicles inside or bits that could come off as a smaller vehicle was cool.
Why did they ever stop making them as they did seem to suddenly disappear from the market? (ah, just read on that website... nvm. )
