    Hi,

I'm looking to buy a MP3 player that will be compatible with my MacBook laptop. Th obvious choice's are the iPods but my main reservation about them is the lack of a FM radio on them even the new range don't seem to have radios. Is there anyway of getting a radio on them from the new Nano Classic iPod to the itouch??

I'm also looking at the Sony S618F 8g but I cant find it retailing in Ireland opnly the 2g model if anyone knows a place selling one that'd be great and if they have any experience using them on Macs.

    Cheers

There is an accessory you can get which gives you radio, along with remote controls on the headphone cable, but it's not compatible with the iPod touch. I'm not sure which other models it works with, but you can see it online in the Apple store.

For the iPod fm radio you'll have this extra 'remote' device sticking out of the iPod whereas the Sony or Creative Zen it's built-in, so the question do you fancy that little niggly thing sticking out of it is your only concern, plus it costs a bit extra.
