Household exhaust heat recovery

I'm in the latter design stages of a new house build and have been reading many threads regarding heat recovery ventilation systems but can find no information concerning heat recovery from solid fuel stoves. We're planning to use an oil-fired condensing boiler for our heating (UFH & radiators) and hot water but will also have a solid fuel stove in the lounge more for cosmetic reasons than anything.

If there was a way of extracting heat from the stove chimney then I hope we could some how improve the inefficiency of the system and reduce our oil bill. I''ve excluded the option of a back boiler as I don't believe that would increase the efficiency of the stove even though it would provide me with a 2nd heat source.

My intention would be to use a thermal store or buffer tank in order that the heat output from the boiler and chimney could be combined.

If anyone has knowledge of existing systems or manufacturers or reasons why this idea is dumb then I'd appreciate the feedback.
