oil burner ran dry help

    hi can anyone help me my mother had oil fired central heating installed a few months back
    she let the tank run dry
    oil getting deliverd thursday
    wil the heating automatically come back on or will i have to get someone to do something to the boiler to restart it
    please help
    dumb women ie me lol

    An airlock could have occurred. You won't be long finding out.

    Talk nicely to the oil delivery man and he may just undo the nut and bleed the airlock (which is likely) after he fills the oil!
