    Hi,

I need an admin to reactivate a friend's account please, as he's having difficulty logging in (it's been a year or two)

    He's getting the following error:
RearNakedJim, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

    1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

He says he can log in, he just can't post.

    Thanks for your help,
    Colm

The problem with his account seems to be that he is awaiting email confirmation.

He needs to check his email inbox for an activation email from boards and click the link that is in the email. If he can't find the email then he needs to check his spam inbox.

If he has no email then get him to go here and enter his email address (the gmail account) and hopefully he'll get the boards email sent to him again. Then he clicks the reactivation link and he should be fine.

Coolo, nobody but the thread starter, smods and admins can answer here. Glad it's sorted.
