anyone know if you can go to this place and give them evidence of the value of an item and pay whatever is due.
I bought a wiimote and nunchuck for wii from HK and it got stopped. want it for christmas so I think that the only way to get it is to call over there. anybody know the opening hours?

    Did you ring them?

It won't be stopped for long. If there's no value on the package then customs will value it themselves and apply duty and VAT as appropriate. I don't know if there's any way to send them proof of value.

Assuming that it is being delivered by an post they will ask for the customs charge when they deliver the parcel. The charge will be based on whatever customs think the item is worth. If you disagree with their valuation you still have to pay an post at the door and appeal it afterwards. If you refuse to pay an post at the door because you think the valuation is wrong then an post will keep the parcel and most likely return to sender.
