connecting laptop to tv

    hi lads, im looking to connect my laptop to my tv, ive seen some 4 pin s-video cable but i need a 7 pin s-video cable with a scart lead connection for the tv, any suggestions ?

    IF you have svideo out, then get svideo cable,1end to pc, other end connect to a scart adaptor with svideo in ,onE side , scart the other side.set signal button to IN.GET these in peats ,maplins , or good hardware store tv section,cables.delux super hardware Store,past guineys talbot st ,dublin1, has the whole kit ,plus 2rca cables,15euro.Large hardware store,texas etc 6 euro for the 2.
    Make sure you have svideo out.set refresh rate on laptop screen 60mhz,720x576, or 480 ,be4 you connect to tv.Press av,av,av,av to see svideo signal.HAVE you a hdtv.Google: pc to tv : 4more info.
