just made two horrible reads in a row, one was a total bluff and the other a misread when I thought a good player was making a squeeze play, so currently up to 5th. as to be my nite, because I'm getting so lucky

8825 at the break in the million. Was as low as 4k after I tried a stupid float. Also got caught bluffing in the $10r and am down to 12k after having 20k at the break. Sigh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,070 ✭✭✭Ollieboy

well good luck to everyone, I'm still in the warm up, 2 out of 126 players
    blinds 4/8k now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,434 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

As I'm getting QQ < KK AIPF in the million, this happens in the $10r:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t300 (9 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

    saw flop|saw showdown

    Hero (t12850)
    BB (t5232)
    UTG (t18200)
    UTG+1 (t21463)
    MP1 (t18306)
    MP2 (t8025)
    MP3 (t10550)
    CO (t22920)
    Button (t7125)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 6spade.gif, Aspade.gif.
4 folds, MP3 calls t300, CO calls t300, 1 fold, Hero completes, BB checks.

    Flop: (t1250) 6diamond.gif, Adiamond.gif, Qspade.gif(4 players)
Hero bets t1100, BB raises to t4907, MP3 calls t4907, CO folds, Hero raises to t12525, MP3 calls t5318 (All-In).

    Turn: (t28907) 9spade.gif(3 players, 1 all-in)

    River: (t28907) 9diamond.gif(3 players, 1 all-in)

    Final Pot: t28907

    Results in white below:
Hero has 6s As (two pair, aces and nines).
BB has Jd 7d (flush, ace high).
MP3 has Ah Js (two pair, aces and nines).
    Outcome: BB wins t28907.

    Whatever.

14.5k at second break. In the hour the only pp I had was 55 and I had to fold them in mp to a huge stack UTG+1 raise. Flop came QQ5, ffs.

Also got 1 suited A (A3), after that it was dolly blinking parton 9/5 and the like for the whole level. My image is of Super Super nit. If I get a hand and flat call I imagine the BB will fold his option lol.

Anyway, am enjoying railing ollie and eamon... far more interesting.

And, the tins of smithwicks are going down a treat. Swore Id never drink again after the office Xmas party on Friday, hehe.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,070 ✭✭✭Ollieboy

tks for the support lads. Didnt like the push at the end, as he had fold 3 times in a row after raising and his raise this time was commit, 1/3 of his stack, so hoping to see a smaller pp with the big raise or AQ/AK. Otherwise I knew I was in trouble.

Played a lot better than the last 2 weeks and thats 23, 13 and 11 in 4 weeks. The standard was really bad tonight, the worse I've seen.

Think the last hand was impossible to fold with the current blinds.

Again thanks for the support and nothing wrong with 2.8k

Gn and gl to all players left in the million
