Gardaí are investigating if drugs may have been a contributing factor in the man's death.
That's a standard line of investigation. Bah!

I mean, I totally agree with you: This new fad of taking drugs should stop before it becomes a commonplace thing. We need the Gardai to kick down random doors and seize and drugs that might be about... if it became a common-place occurrance.
I think I'll go ring Joe Duffy and tell him and the world what I think!

    I'll pay you ... <checks wallet> ... a euro if you do it!

Seems more people die at this time of year than any ,from drug/drink overdoses and Hypothermia

if they take drugs they know the dangers, no sympathy for them, but plenty for their friends and families left behind

would you have sympathy if it was drink or tobacco related?

It's the 4th death in the last few weeks in waterford. One lad, stabbed to death - 3 potentially dead from drugs. This town is going downhill.

Local news sayings the gardai are treating it as "sudden death syndrome".
