"My computer" suddenly acting all weird

When I got my PC, refurbished one, mysteriously the hard drive is set to H:\ (with c: being one of those media card readers)..

If anyone knows how to change the drive letters around it would be helpful..

The weird thing is, recently, double clicking on H: in "my computer" brings up..

"Choose the program you want to use to open this file"..

With the list of wordpad, etc, all the programs.. its pretty annoying.. anyone know what causes this or how to set it back to normal?

External harddrives (j: k: etc) all seem to work fine.
