howdy folks, can anyone tell me is it possible to convert a lotus wordperfect file (.wls) to a format that can be read on the mac. i have office on the mac but it comes up all arseways on it. Anybody have any ideas, preferably those of the free variety? Have tried google but no luck.

Are they from old versions of Wordperfect or recent versions. I have NeoOffice for Mac and it claims to import Wordperfect documents although I have no way to test their efficiency. NeoOffice is a free Office suite alternative to M$ Office and is completely free. There are separate versions for Intel Macs and older PPC Macs so ensure you get the right version for your machine.

HI Zener, thanks a million for the info, am downloading Neo office at the moment and will give it a go. the wordperfect document is from 2003 so hopefully it will recognise it.
