    'Lo all :)

Got a relatively cheap 420ex on ebay, it is missing the red plastic bit which covers the autofocus aid thingy (those are the technical names). Does anyone know of a place which would sell 'cosmetic' parts like that so hubby could fix it, or failing that, an inexpensive repair centre? I contacted that crowd Canon suggest and they won't even quote unless I package up the whole thing and send it to them.

    Ta!

You'll usually get spare battery doors etc easily, but expensively, enough on ebay.
A quick googlw didn't turn up anything. Perhaps email Canon?
