Trouble with Downloaded games on PS3

Folks - I'm hoping this will turn out that I am being completely stupid and missing something really obvious but I downloaded a game to the PS3 today and can't seem to find how to get it to run. I can see it in the game data section of the main menu but when I highlight it and hit options the only ones available to me are delete and information.
Please tell me I'm missing something.

that's a reasonable question - obviously I don't really know what I'm doing here - just hitting the x button on the game icon does nothing at all (and a little pic comes up in the corner saying press triangle for options). I have tried all the other buttons I think.
The game is Lemmings (cost me a fiver and all so hope I can get it working).

go to the PS store and re-download it (there's a section in "my account" i believe showing stuff you already own). might just be a corrupt download or something equally mundane

Happened me with Lemmings as well.
I just redownloaded it, just as well its free !

Still never will be as good as the original .....Dont get me wrong, its still addictive as hell

Ah - progress - I've just finished a download of a free demo for another game and it has appeared in the Game menu as a new item. The Lemmings game was only going in to the Game Data Utility Menu - I assume this is the problem, anyone know how to fix it?

Did the download for Lemmings complete 100%?
If so, I'd say just try downloading it again, as it should be appearing on the game menu as well. (you then have to press triangle and choose install iirc)

The new lemmings on the PSN is fairly rubbish. Wasted money on it myself expecting a remake.

Finally got this working this morning - there were two separate downloads, one a demo, the "full game" download is actually only an add on to the demo which you must install first in order for it to work. (In fairness it does actually explain this in the info on the store site, I just didn't quite get it the first time round)

As for the game itself it's still loads of fun, but would never live up to playing it for the first time.

happened to 2 of my downloaded games tekken 5 and mortal kombat 2...when i redownloaded mortal kombat it worked but when i redownloaded tekken 5 it still won't install...anyone know what the problem is?

Some games, I think Lemmings included, come as a "starter pack" and a complete version. It's been a while but IIRC I had to download both to get the game running.
