Looking for DIY livery

    Hi,

Does anybody know of any reasonably priced DIY livery yards in the Skerries or Laytown area, or alternatively in the Bray, Greystone and Wicklow area?
The yard does not have to be fancy but should have grazing and an outdoor school in addition to the stables. I'm looking for about 2/3 stables, as we are relocating from the UK in January.

Renting stables on a farm/stud would also be an option.

Any suggestions will be gratfully received!!

    Ulrike

    Hi

There are a few people on the forum who are from that area who may know.. I'm from the Midlands.. we moved from the UK in August. I have found DIY livery quite hard to find where I am .. but I think the areas you are looking are much more horsey so you'll have a better chance..

I found my yard by word of mouth.. but look in the field etc.. I found my original yard (we have moved from there) by calling tack shops here to see if they had any adverts up (while we were still in the UK) ..

    Good luck with the move!

Thanks for your reply... yes, it does not seem easy to find DIY livery... Maynooth in Kildare is also a possibility for us, but I will post a seperate thread for this area..

Whom did you use to bring your horse(s) across from the UK, or did bring them yourself? T

Superocky, you are new here so you get the benefit of the doubt.

Spamming the forum with multiple identical threads is not on.. If you are looking for more livery options, then post it here.

no probs, sorry, I've not used a forum before so I'm not sure of the rules...

Anyway, if anybody has heard of any DIY livery yards in the Maynooth area, requirements as above, please let me know as well, thanks a lot!!
