Hi guys just got one a couple of weeks on ebay refurbished bargain @ e135 and then got a AV cable. What can I say excellent piece of kit and the quality of a recent heoes episodes on TV is remarkable. ---- I sound like a Harvey Norman Sales Rep now *cringe*

Anyway I've a few foreign films like la heine and I'd like to know is there a way of getting the associated subtitle files for such films to work on my Zen?

I know most DIVX players will play subtitles if you have them in a text file
if the text file has the same name as the movie file.
    Eg:

    moviename.avi
    moviename.txt

Whilst I've used it on my Argosy and on the PC, I haven't tried it on my
Zen M. If you have the txt file stick it on the Zen and see how it goes.

Yeah cheers, I've been using VLC as my chief player for avi's for a while and am always able to hook the subtitles that way.

You know I really should probably try it first myself (on my zen m) before I posted:o

Antway I'll see what happens for the weekend

i think subs need to be hardcoded into the video files to work on the ZVM, not 100% on that though
