If last week saw potential fortunes to be made (cough) this week its all very different as the stronger teams are largely playing away while there are many
near-neighbours in the tables playing one another.

The best chance of a low risk double win is in Scots Division 3 with the 2 of the top 3 playing the bottom 2, East Fife and Montrose both at home for the win @ 1.95 You could add Celtic for a treble they play Sunday away to Inverness CT @ 2.80

I've just spotted top/bottom clash in Div 2 Ross County v Berwick all four ties @ 3.84

    Mike.

Had the same plan with my "winnings" from the newcastle match.
Watched the espanyol match, was shocking.
Levante would need 3 months to score.
    Handy money.

Despite saying earlier in the week that I fancied a draw double today I've gone and changed my mind this morning.

I have a feeling for Utd today (maybe that's just wishful thinking) and have backed them to win 1-2 @ 12.5/1 and (just in case) 1-3 @ 31/1. €20 on each scoreline

Now that it looks like they'll have the big hitters back and the fact that Chelsea will be without Drogba and Essien I've had €100 on Arsenal to win @ just over 6/4 but I'll probably look to hedge that bet if they score first.

One thing's for sure today though - I'm about 1/10 to drink more than 9.5 pints and 8/1 unders :D:D

Staying away from these games they could be 0-0 or 3-2 each.

    Celtic/Real/Atletico (win/draw) treble 43 on 100 back.

    Mike.

Celtic are shockingly unpredictable these days.
Losing away 3-2 to Inverness should be unthinkable.
    Strange

Koln v Kaiserslautern might be worth a punt tonight, the away side are in poor shape but you can get 1.60 for a home win.

    Mike.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,698 ✭✭✭IrishMike

Had a long long look at that already today Mike.
A bet of over 2.5 looks a decent bet.
Koln are scoring goals like crazy.
Should be a cert home win though

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 257 ✭✭63587614

All right lads had bad weekend again over all. Although from a Man U perspective things went good.

Had 50 Eur doulbe on Utd +1 4/9 and Burnley home to Preston at 8/11. Burnley lost 2-3, ****ed everything up.

Then had 40 Eur draw on Arsenal v Chelsea.

In the end went for Koln to win to nil
    €30 at 21-10.

I have a few quid on a +2.5 goal and a good few quid on a win *cross' fingers*

(got home win at 1.7 on betfair)

I'm not going with a goal target as you only get an extra 0.7 for the risk. Actually you get NOTHING on PP 1.61 v1.61 (I check as I typed the above!)

    50 on a win @ 1.61

    Mike.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,497 ✭✭✭✭cson

Always had a soft spot for Cologne cos of Lukasz Podolski and Football Manager.

Willy Gallas was 28/1 to score first yesterday and 9/1 to score anytime. I had a good look at that before deciding to leave it :o

Whenever ManYoo are playing weaker teams I always back Ronaldo for anytime goalscorer, usually he's between 3/1 and 5/6, always seems a great bet to me.
