I saw my endocrinologist last night (6 month visit) and all pretty good, my blood pressure is fine, the hba1c reading is almost to his likeing "get another .3 off and I'll be smiling"

My experience with Lipitor treatment for cholesterol was discussed and I'm on Omacor from now on (its basicly Omega3). My current level is 4.1 he wants it below 3.

    Mike.

Sounds good. Who's your endo? I've to go back for the results of my diabetic tests later today, not optimistic tbh:(

Mike, once your levels go down, do you come off the pills? Mine was 6.1 at the last reading, trying to get it down for Jan, but I'm not sure if it'll stay down once it's down, or how it works. I was away for 2 months, I have a feeling that's going to play havoc with my hb1ac.

Nope, the Omacor (or whatever treatment is used) is an ongoing requirement. Not that its a big deal.

BanzaiBk, my doctor is (who I see privatly I should say) Graham Roberts at the Waterford Regional Hospital
