Semms like pretty good value, wasn't sure about the Graphics card ( I was expecting an 8800GTX) but the review of it on hardware testing sites seem to be pretty good and for a grand, excluding postage the machine is pretty good value.
What games are you planning on running on it?

CoD4 and Crysis - do you think Vista is a problem or that I need an extra gig of RAM?

    Thanks for the response

I have a similar build machine and Crysis runs fine on it... Actually I only have 2GB of RAM.. Admittedly I'm considering 4 though.. But that machine will run Crysis no probs.

for the price its pretty good to be honest. But none of the cores run at 9.6ghz so dont be fooled by that. Each core will run at 2.4ghz.

He's doing his maths that 4 cores @ 2.4ghz is 9.6ghz....bit misleading alright but nothing too serious

No brand new from dell factory outlet with 1 year warranty....

Thread here about it,when they were on offer for very cheap, that seller probably got it for 950 and is selling for 200 euro profit,he seems to buy alot of dell factory outlet....

I have heard that you get 12000 on 3dmark06 at stock settings and the cpu can be clocked to 3.0ghz,the graphics card overclocks well too.....

Comparing it to the pc your looking at on ebay,it beats it on pure performance and has a better quality psu and case, which is important imo when buying a performance pc.....

Ebay one looks very good too, class cpu, graphics, ram etc,but the psu looks very cheap as does the case....

I would go with the piece of mind of the dell xps myself....

Good luck with your purchase mate....
