Chances of getting a part-time job after Christmas?

    Hey folks,

    I finished in my current job a couple of days ago. Need to concentrate on exams for the next fortnight.

    Anywho, gonna start applying for part-time work straight after Christmas. Are places likely to be hiring then? They hire loads for the Christmas period, but I would think if they need staff for afterwards, they would keep on some seasonal staff.

    You're right in saying that they'll keep on seasonal staff, but not for too long. Some may be offered part-time jobs as a result of Christmas work, but it'd be few.
    You should get fixed up relatively quick by the end of January I'd imagine. Any idea what sort of job you'd be interested in?
