    excellent.

    I tried to do the same thing last night - the clouds were in the shape of Northern Europe, with Denmark, France and Spain and Great Britain. However, by the time I got my camera ready it was all a mush....

    Thanks. I think it was probably 8 to 10 seconds. I took several shots to see what worked best. Was too cold to wait around for lots of nice clouds to come pass by.

    Nice! Is there much in the way of light pollution where you are?
    Or does the angle of the shot avoid it?

    Well, I live in Finglas so this time of year the light pollution from the christmas lights outside some peoples houses are big and bright enough to be seen from outer space!

    cool, looks like it could be used on the back page of an album sleeve for some genre like urban ambient music (or maybe that's just me!).
