Cooker wont go off

    My main oven wont go off. It wont even go off when I turn the dial to off and the orange light stays on aswell.
    When the main switch on the wall is turned off it goes off.
    Just wondering if any has any ideas as to whats wrong.
    I am going to ring an electrician tomorrow but until then :confused:

    you need a new regulator (oven stat)-more than likely fused on the inside which is why it wont turn off

    Hey thanks for your reply :)
    I rang the company they said that it would take 3-4 days
    for an engineer to ring me to arrange when to come out and have a look.
    So take-aways for the next few days :)

    what make is it by the way -? plus you should have rang a few companys some will offer next day service
