How to find out the IP adress of the Wireless Bridge (Belkin)?

    Hi,

somehow I must changed the IP of my Belkin Router when I had to reconfigure my Wireless Network at home a few months back.

I now got a new device which I have to add to the MAC Filtering, but somehow I am unable to access the Router, as I have forgotten the IP of it.

Is there any way of figuring it out?

I can access the Speedtouch Modem, but none of the IP adresses in there give me any indication of the IP of the Router, which now functions as a Wireless Bridge.

Any idea on how to get the IP to access the Router Config Menu?

    Cheers,
    DubDani

    Start > Run > cmd > ipconfig /all

The router should be the gateway listed.

    If that fails, you can

    Start > Run > cmd > tracert www.boards.ie

and note the hop addresses it makes :)

Thanks for that. I did that already, but the displayed IP only brings me into the Modem config menu, and not into the Router config menu.

    Try

    Start > Run > cmd > arp -a

    or an ip scanner ipscan

Thanks. The IP Scanner did the trick... Much appreciated.
