    Hi,

My current set up is that I have an iMac connected to my NTL broadband modem. Thing is my wife is getting a laptop and I need her to be able to connect wirelessly ... help me please?

Is there something I can plug into the modem that her laptop will see? Its a Dell Inspiron 6400.

    Thnx

You'll need to get yourself a wireless router, you can pick them up practically anywhere nowdays, there is a belkin one at Argos here if your interested but you can get cheaper ones.

Yes it does, I have the same setup, you just plug your Ethernet cable from your NTL modem to the wireless modem.

If your iMac has an airport interface you might also consider sharing your internet connection through that if it's permanently hooked up to your modem anyway. This way you don't even need any additional piece of HW.
