Was that a bundle or did you buy them separately? Also, if it was a bundle, are they the only games it comes with, or do you get to choose (I've already played King Kong)?

I knew when I paid 360 for a pro system with Gears of War I'd be buggered within days.
Sure enough Smyth's were doing a deal with GOW, Halo3, and COD4 for 400 about 5 days later.

Another good offer is Xtravision for €359.99 where you get Halo3 and second wireless controller and rental vouchers. You can then get GOW and COD4 second hand.

a great deal alright im afraid there was no choosing what games you get mind you you could chance them they might change King kong for another the guy in the shop said it also has the new falcon chip installed in it as well so am quite pleased it was gamestop in the parkway where i got mine although i saw the same offer in gamestop in the crescent last nite!

The problem with these bundles is the games really. The xtra-vision one is Console+Extra Controller+Forza 2+Viva Pinata+PGR3+Halo 3 for €399.99. Sure its 4 games and another controller but apart from Halo 3,like the gamestop bundle,the rest of the games aren't really very good.

Viva Pinata and PGR3 are both better than Halo3 imo, and Forza 2 is fantastic if you're into anal driving games.

Beats the gamestop premium for elite trade offer... I laughed in their face when they said I'd also get a copy of Eragon:p

Well I guess i just hate racing games,and there are 2 of them there. They could at least throw in something else a bit newer.

I got the offer today. The pressie is for my daughter so traded Blue Dragon+Halo3 in for Clash of the titans and money off a DS game for her.
So I'm happy!
