Gold account on an original xbox

    I don't have a 360, but was told that Gold accounts work on an original xbox.

    Today I purchased a Gold account and set up my gamertag.

    When I choose Recover Account in the Live settings of the xbox dashboard I'm asked for the following:

    Gamertag -
    Card Number -
    Card Holders Name -
    Phone number -
    Postal Code -

    I was not asked for either of the last two when registering and no matter what I enter, it's not accepted.

    Any suggestions?

    I would call Xbox customer care. I think they have a toll-free number.

    I've had to call them in the past and they fixed my problem quickly.

    I've emailed them. If I don't hear anything back by tomorrow evening I'll ring them.

    Just trying to find out if anyone else has had a similar problem.
