    anyone know if there is an easy way to find out a list of domains owned by someone? like a backwards whois?

    It depends on whether it is a .com or whatever..

    For IE domains you can't do reverse whois lookups.

    At present there is at least one solution (whois.sc) which has a reverse whois for .com, but hopefully it won't be around for much longer
