Sky link + Sky plus

I have two tvs in my house connected to the rf2 output of my sky+ box. Both have skylinks attached. The setup was working and had been working for over a year. Then last week I could no longer change the channel in either of the remote rooms. The lights on the skylinks are still lit. I tried connecting one of the sky links directly to the rf2 outlet on the skybox and even though the light lit up it still didn't change the channel. Can the ability to remotely control theese sky boxs via the rf2 outlet stop working?

Have you tried rebooting the Skybox (plug out for a min, plug back in)?

You omitted the make and model. The Thomson Sky+ Digibox is becoming notorious for power supply faults that cause weird things to happen. Are the movie/sports channels "breaking up"? (Another symptom of a faulty PSU).
