broadband ntel. wireless.. problems

    it keeps on cutting out.. the router is upstairs and is about 40metres away as crow flies.. the netgear icon says im at 66% or less all the time.. never more.. is there anything i can do rather than get a wideer wireless router.. any tips would be appreciated

    My first tip would be to stop letting crows fly in you house.

    Is it the internet connection cuting out or the wireless signal? If its the wireless signal, does it happen anyother PC?

    What I would do is move the PC right next to it and see what happens?

    other pcs seem to be fine
    i think its just distance
    the internet cuts out and its because the little icon goes red on the taskbar
