Learning Portuguese in Portugal

    Hi There,

I am learning Portugeuse one night per week in Ireland, and I'd really like to do an intensive course in Portugal over a week or two.

There are quite a few advertised online, but I'm not really sure what you can tell from a website about the quality of the courses... So, I'm wondering if anyone has learned Portuguese in Portugal before, where did you do it and would you recommend them?

I know the best way of learning a language is living in the country, but I'd like to ease myself in gently...

Also, I've visted Lisbon twice now, and although I liked it, I'd be open to going to somewhere a bit more relaxed (less traffic etc) or somewhere right beside the sea...

So if anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

    Thanks!

    Lena
