    Hi,

I'm not sure if this question contravenes forum rules, (mods please delete if so), but I'm looking for an Architectural Technician in the Kildare area.

It is to design a new stairs to an existing attic storage space in a newly built house. I want to get planning permission for this, so it can be designated as bedroom space, not just storage.

Feel free to PM details if this is ok.

    Thanks

    What part of kildare?
Also, i take it that you want to design as a bedroom to add it as a bedroom when you come to sell. Are you prepared to make the required changes to the other landing area? Door closers, fire-rated etc.

    I'm in Monasterevin.

I have been reading up on what's required, so I know we have to change the doors, closers, add smoke seals to the frames, but after that I'm not so sure.

Initally we are going to use the room as a home entertainment area, but want to be able to call it a bedroom when we come to sell.

    Thanks
