You mean you don't fancy it

Of all the world destinations I thought this was a bizarre one, what about all the Irish punters who want to come home from say Sydney for example?

Virgin are offering Nigerians a direct route home for Christmas? Is there something wrong with that?

Trust me if there is one flight I would like to avoid all year it would be that one. Took enough of them to Lagos from Heathrow and for some reason they are more hassle X 10 times then flights to any where else. The problems with flights to lagos has come up before

and as a passenger I would definately side with the airline staff. No mention of the crap they have to put up with. My attitude is the apology should be the other way around, but the airlines are in it for the money and probably make decent cash from the route.

Anyhow it is (certainly was) even worse leaving Lagos, esp if you havent bribed your way an escort. The most annoying aspect was the standing underneath the 747 and identfying your bag being thrown onto the plane luggage compartment because the place was so corrupt no one could trust the bag would make it without this measure.

There's always the chance at Lagos Airport that you might meet the troubled dude who's been trying for a long time to get his millions out of Nigeria - face behind the emails and that. You might be quids in!
