    Hey Travel MODS,

Just wondering.....Hows about a West Coast America sticky (same as the NY one) in the Travel & Hols forum?

There are loads of Q's in here for SFO/LAS/LAX etc & it's much easier than repeating the same advice over & over.

    cheers.

Well with Aer Lingus opening another route to the West Coast, there may be a market for another sticky!

It might be worth taking a different approach: to have a think about the general organisation of the travel section of Boards.ie.

I'm quite interested in travel in Europe, and not often interested in travel elsewhere. Perhaps it would be a good idea to have sections for Europe, North America, Rest of the World, and General Travel Matters (mostly Dublin Airport, Ryanair, and Aer Lingus!).

A couple of sub-forums may be in order.

    Best brought up here.

We could do with a Ryanair Sticky, cos it would appear noone seems to know where they stand with cancelling flights, baggage charges, online check in etc etc.

I can kinda understand this too, because Ryanair, for all their good points, dont exactly make all this stuff very transparent and as we all know customer service is non existant.

A Ryanair FAQ would be a great addition to the site, yeah.

I can, manage it no problem but only from next Monday onwards (when I'm on holidays).

We need someone to code a Boards wiki module for the travel section :)

    God don't tempt them!

I've posted my idea on the thread in Forums - a "destinations" subforum and a "flights/airlines etc" subforum, though I suppose these would overlap with the likes of Aviation and Things to do in..., and would exclude the likes of interrailing etc.
