Live music vs eclectic music vs DJs from Holland

The weekly Sessions night at Rogue in Dublin will see its next episode this Thurday. As the FlammableSessions cross the borders of various styles of electronic music, this time they enlarge their musical range of styles. Not only electronic dance music, but even also live music will feature the line up.

    Who is playing this Thursday?

    Upstairs/lounge: Live music + eclectic

To do something different this time, we’ve booked “The Third Way”, a band which consists out of 5 Irish and Brazilian musicians. They play a wide range of renowned pop rock songs, such as Jimmy Hendrix, The Cars, Pixies, Talking Heads... The Band will commence playing at around 10.30 pm.

Additionally to this line up for the lounge, DJ Dave Glennon (IE) will spin an eclectic blend of soul, latin, funk and house music. Dave Glennon has become a regular since we started out with FlammableSessions in Dublin and he already has earned a lot of respect from the visitors. His music set is never the same, he often plays the unexpected.

Downstairs/club: Future Disco + Dutch DJs

Nelson (IE): The third DJ lined up downstairs will play a funky warm up set for the Dutch guys. Nelson has a great personality and musical gift, that’s why we love to see and hear him play. Being not a stranger to the Dublin clubbing scene, he has showcased his talent at many renowned venues, such as The Vaults, Tripod, Traffic, Spirit and Rogue over the last couple of years.
All DJ’s will get visual support from Flammable[tv] with his top notch live visual arts.

Jens de Langer (NL): Been into music since he was born. He wrote his own songs when he was just 8 years of age and played drums and percussion for 7 years before he started dj-ing and producing.
As a true open minded music lover he has developed a special feel for quality and adventure inspired by a wide range of genres such as; jazz, funk, rock, pop, hip-hop, Italo, and 80s pop. Some of his own productions are being played by the likes of DJ Sander Kleinenberg.
Expect the unexpected in a timeless mix of upfront electronic dance music.

He works not only as a music-journalist for the respected Dutch magazine "Oor" (Dutch version of Rolling Stone Magazine), he also writes for www.365mag.com, interviewing a wide array of global DJs.
Furthermore he is a well-respected DJ and Producer, performing in front of crowds performing in front of crowds for the past 4 years, all over the world. Now he is turning his focus to producing exclusive dj events in Amsterdam (Holland), Floripa (Brazil), and Barcelona (Spain).
