Personally I'm thinking of going across the border next week and buying one there. Looking at the .co.uk equivalents of the major retailers shows decent spec Samsung 32" LCDs going for around the €650 mark. The same one here would be several hundred more I reckon.

What i really want is a sony bravia.Possibly the 32P3020 or the 32S3000.I would'nt get the 32u3000 because it has no bravia engine defeating the whole purpose of going for a top brand. If the sony's work out to be too dear, i would go for one slightly cheaper.Possibly along the lines of a toshiba, LG or a Philips

Ive been keeping an eye on the sonys aswell, my understanding is the higher the letter the better, i.e sonyx3500 being top of the range, would the 32P3020 not be one of the lower end models??

In the 32" range the order goes U, P, S & D.There have been new U and P models in the last month. The current S and D models have been out for a few months. There does'nt seem to be much difference in the spec of the P in comparison to the S.The best price i've seen for the 32S2000 is about 760 incl delivery on rankhour.com

Is this model able to get rte(That uhf tuner thing) via analogue over here???
I've also found this model and i'm not sure where it fits into the range

    http://www.directtvs.co.uk/Sony_KDL-32S3020_KDL32S3020U/version-1.asp

Is this an all new model or something????
