Super Mario Galaxy availability

I heard the Wii are in very short supply but does the same go for SM Galaxy?

Went out today expecting to pick up a copy - Im sure I saw plenty on the shelves some weeks ago - but none available. Game, Gamestop, HMV, Virgin - all in the same town.

Was I just unlucky or is it the same everywhere?

Nintendo seems to be making a real hash of their supply chain.

I had no problem at all down here, only got it a couple of days ago. Shopped around because the price really ranged, eventually got it in Xtra-vision for €45. I don't know what it's like elsewhere though.

There's a shortage of all things Mario this year (except Strikers, and the Olympics game...oh an paper mario).

They had loads of them available last week in most of the above mentioned shops unless it's all changed since then I'd sure you will have no problems getting it.

Argos (deffo have them, online argos.ie or ring and reserve).
You should get a copy in one of these places.
Prices range from €60 to €45.
Smyths and Gamestop will take 2 games trade in for it
(depening on the value of the game in store).

i checked avaialability in argos in nutgrove - over 50 in stock - soi'd same its the same with all argos stores

Thanks very much for the help. Forgot about my local Xtravision. Had it there for E45.

Glad Game was out of stock now - had the box for E55 in my hand at the till until they told me they had none in stock and the boxes were just for display!. Why do they do that?

Because they are Game and think they rule the Universe. Haven't bought a game there in ages as you can usually get the same thing 10 euro cheaper three or four doors up. Occasional good offer there, but for the most part Game tend to be rip off merchants (although CoD4 for 44.99 the other day was tempting, but I resisted)

It's 50 euro in Game. And they put display boxes out because if when there's proper barcode boxes on the shelves they're destroyed by people shoving them into the wrong places on the shelves.

Hmmm, Over the weekend, I tried a number of places but nowhere I went had it in stock.

got 28 euro trade in on Mercury revolution meltdown (cost me ~22) so 17 extra for Mario, yay!
